Hi my name's Melissa! My pronouns are she/her and I'm a 3D artist and technician based in the NYC area.
I specialize in motion/performance capture, XR, and virtual production. Beyond these interests, I enjoy a good everything bagel, taking walks, and meticulously putting together Spotify playlists.
My pieces focus on topics including mental health and identity, inviting people to question who they are and how they perceive their world. While some of my projects are more somber, I think that representing these feelings and scenarios in a visual world makes them more digestible and allows people to feel less alone. You'll often find 2 similar mesh body models in my projects, which I often use to either take focus away from physical identity or put an emphasis on it.
